03-23-10 Austin Zoo

Today was gorgeous. 75 degrees, clear, bright. We were going to take the new train to Leander, but we woke up too late. Instead we decided to check out the Austin Zoo, which turned out to be amazing. The animals seem happy there. There are roosters and peacocks running wild, goats and ducks bleating and honking for pellets. Apparently the lions spray you when they get antsy or horny, but they were pretty relaxed today.
